Registration is open for the Hagerstown Duathlon and 5K Run on Oct 17. In addition, race director Ken Racine is looking for volunteers.

Waynesboro Area Senior High School Track
Hosted by: OFAR (outfrontandrunning.com)
Course: Starts and ends on outdoor track at rear of high school. Course includes Renfrew Park
PRE-REGISTRATION by Sept.25th guarantees a short-sleeve cotton t-shirt for 5K registrants.
Pre-registration $15, Walk-up registration $20
Fun Run Pre-registration requested but there is no fee.
Packet pick-up Friday, Oct 2, 6:30 – 8:00 PM or Saturday morning.
Walk-up Registration: Friday, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, 7 – 7:30 a.m. at the track.
5K Cost:¬ $15 by September 25th, $20 after Sept.25 th
Awards: Age group medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place

Tri It Now has added a Mini/Sprint Tri in Frederick to their calendar of events this year – The Spring Ridge Sprint Tri. This will be on Sunday August 30 and will consist of :
250 yard pool swim
4.5 mile bike
1.5 mile run

Also hosted by Racine Multisports, This race supports the Joanna M. Nicolay Melanoma Foundation. The mission of the Joanna M. Nicolay Melanoma Foundation is to promote prevention, early detection and research to end melanoma. This is Frederick’s only official Kid’s Triathlon.
