Clay Britt Swim Clinics in DC

Hey club!  Club member Kevin Clark posted this on Facebook and I thought I’d also post it on our site.  If you’re looking for some help with your swim stroke, this might be an economical and quick answer:

http://www.claybrittswimming.com/home.html

Here you’ll find links to the different clinics that are offered by Clay in DC.  For a 1-day clinic, the cost is $140 and you receive classroom instruction, underwater videotaping, tools, and in-water instruction.  There are other options available if you want more clinic time or more personalized instruction.  Check out the options at the link above.

Proposed New Club Logo

Here’s the new logo I’m proposing for the club:

fredtriclubproof

Yeah, I know “Triatholon” is spelled wrong.  The designer just didn’t know and joked it was so we couldn’t use it without paying.

We will have to pay the designer who came up with this draft, so that may enter into your comments/decisions.  Still, though I was okay with the Tribe logo, this one does relate more to Frederick.

Please let me know if you have heartburn with this within the next few weeks.

Good Deals on Bike Stuff

Just a heads up that chuck’s bicycle closeouts is going out of business.  They’re offering 30% off all their remaining inventory. Their prices are low to begin with, so 30% off means that you can get stuff really cheap. Brian and I have bought several items from these guys over the years and have been completely satisfied. Definitely a place to check out if you’re looking for wheels, parts, etc.
